The Future of Energy's mission is to provide a networking and educational forum for energy professionals. By utilizing the diverse expertise and leadership of its members, the group works to promote practical solutions for enhancing the role of energy efficiency and renewable energy in consumer choices, and market dynamics; and communicate how they relate to major global problems such as global climate change, peak energy, and sustainability.

         
>>WHAT WE'VE DONE
 
  • We've have held educational and networking events featuring energy efficiency experts.
  • We've held a three part speaking series “The Temperature of Climate Change and the
    Energy Economy” in the Fall of 2007 including Rob McAndrew (Chicago Climate Exchange),
    Steve Cowell (Conservation Services Group), Sean Penrith (Earth Advantage).
  • We've held monthly meetings for happy hour.
  • We've offered technology testing for home energy monitors.
  • We've been a resource for job seekers and employers in the local energy industry.
